visionary art is everything except visionary, wrong name for the genre. Those are not visions but stuff from the imagination of the artist, nothing wrong with that, actually nice images. That applies to ALL visionary art i’ve seen until this day. Its more like neo surrealism or drug influenced surrealism.
Impressionism is a true visionary art for example a truly retinal experience.
