The Visionary Art of Michael Divine

Born in Connecticut in 1976, Michael Divine is a visionary artist whose art also draws on artistic movements including Symbolism, Futurism, Impressionism, Abstract, Fantastic Realism and Surrealism.     visionary art is everything except visionary, wrong name for the genre. Those are not visions but stuff from the imagination of the artist, nothing wrong with that, actually nice images. That applies to ALL visionary art i’ve seen until this day. Its more like neo surrealism or drug influenced surrealism.
    Impressionism is a true visionary art for example a truly retinal experience.

      Not at all, many of these art pieces are taken from the visual realm. Try the medicine or substances for yourself and see. Emphasis on the “seeing” part!
